Reforestation

The plantings follow a organized sequence to ensure the success of the process. Initially, the seedlings are obtained through the collection or acquisition of seeds, followed by germination and subsequent transplantation into tubes. After this stage, the seedlings go through the growth and hardening process, preparing for planting.

The planting area is carefully selected, and the soil is analyzed and prepared as needed, including corrections and measures to prevent erosion, such as creating trenches for diverting and draining rainwater. The planting locations are marked according to the chosen spacing, and the species are selected, separated, and blended in the nursery.

At the time of planting, the date is chosen considering the rainfall regime, and the seedlings are transported from the nursery to the planting site. The work is divided into teams, including hole drilling, seedling placement, fertilization, and staking.

After planting, cultural treatments are repeated until the growth and soil coverage by the tree canopies allow for tree self-sufficiency. This includes weed control through mowing and herbicide application, as well as ant control.
